Adetunji Olude, Councilmember
Adetunji Olude has been an Attorney with the Judicial Council of California since 2016. Prior to this, she represented employees in wage and hour disputes and discrimination and whistleblower retaliation cases from 2014 to 2016. Ms. Olude joined the Housing and Economic Rights Advocates as a Latham & Watkins, LLP Equal Justice Works fellow in 2009 and later served as a Staff Attorney at the statewide, not-for-profit legal service organization dedicated to protecting vulnerable communities from discrimination and economic abuses until 2014. From 2003-2006, Ms. Olude worked as an Intake and Pro Bono Coordinator at Legal Services for Children. Ms. Olude is a member of the National Center for Lesbian Rights Board of Directors. She earned a Juris Doctor degree from the Georgetown University Law Center where she studied as a Public Interest Law Scholar.
Ms. Olude was appointed by Governor Gavin Newsom in 2020.
