Thomas Bennett, Attorney Mediator


Thomas Bennett has been involved in community conflict resolution since 2002, having received facilitator certification through the Alternatives to Violence Project. Thomas has a longstanding commitment to public and community service and has contributed a year’s service in AmeriCorps, three years’ service as a US DOJ-Accredited Immigration Representative, and two years helping develop bilingual community-based mental health programs in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, and California. Thomas also has provided language services for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, and analytical support for research projects sponsored by the California Judicial Council. With an undergraduate degree in urban development, Thomas has a lifelong commitment to volunteer work for affordable housing. Thomas graduated from UC Hastings College of the Law in 2012 with a focus on dispute resolution studies and joined the CRD as an Attorney Mediator in 2014. Thomas works in the Dispute Resolution Division’s Elk Grove office.
