Christopher "CJ" Lee, Attorney Mediator


Christopher “CJ” Lee joined DFEH as an attorney mediator in 2021 after spending several years representing employees and employers in litigation. His work as an employment discrimination attorney included all aspects of pre-trial litigation, including taking and defending depositions, pre-trial motions, discovery, case management, client relations, mediations, arbitrations, trial preparation, and appellate work. While pursuing his litigation career, CJ served on DFEH’s volunteer mediation panel and successfully mediated dozens of cases. CJ has taken over 100 hours of mediation training and previously externed with the Honorable Dolly M. Gee in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He earned a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, and a J.D. from the Gould School of Law at the University of Southern California.
