DFEH v. Verizon Class Action Settlement

The DFEH entered into a settlement agreement with Verizon Services Corporation to settle claims of current and former Verizon employees who were unlawfully denied medical leave and/or terminated from Verizon in violation of the Fair Employment and Housing Act and California Family Rights Act (CFRA). On January 19, 2012, the court granted final approval and judgment was entered on this historic class action settlement. Please see the following:
